Homemade Crunchy Cornflakes.

Cornflakes can be enjoy as breakfast with milk and a toppings for Yogurts and desserts.

To make cornflakes at home, here are the basic ingredients , that will help you get started.

a. 1 teaspoon of sugar

b.1 teaspoon of salt

c. One and half cup of water.

d. 2 cups of Corn.

DIRECTIONS.

  1. In a blender pour the corn, sugar and salt, blend or grind it together into a fine mixture.

2. then pour the mixture in a bowl, gradually adding little                   water while stirring it, note the dough should be able to                 pass through your fingers if mixed very well.

3. In a flat surface , knead the dough until its smooth and                   elastic.

4. Roll it , using a rolling pin at least to a thickness of about              1/8 inch.

5. Allow the oven heat to 350 F.

6. You can use flake cutter or knife to cut out the desired               shapes or sizes of your choice.

7. Put or arrange the cut flakes on a tray and place it inside                the preheated oven.

8. Bake until it turns golden brown and crispy or put the oven            timer at 10-15 minutes.

9. Remove from the oven and let it cool down completely.               store in a cool and dry container . Enjoy your crispy crunchy           healthy cornflakes snack.
